FAQs
What happens in the Initial session?
The initial session is a chance for us to meet, for you to get a sense of me and how I work, and for me to understand a little more about what has brought you to therapy. It’s also an opportunity to get a sense of how we are together, whether you feel comfortable with me, and whether my way of working feels like it could be helpful for you.
How often would we meet?
If we decide to work together, sessions are weekly and last 50 minutes. Regularity is an important part of creating a space where therapy can develop.
How long would I be in therapy?
This depends on what you are looking for and what feels helpful. I work with people for short, medium or longer periods of time. We can talk together about what feels appropriate, and this can be revisited as the work develops.
Where do you work?
I work from a confidential and comfortable therapy room in Central Stroud. The room is on the second floor.
How much does therapy cost?
My fee is £55 per 50-minute session.
What if I’m not sure whether therapy is right for me?
You don’t need to be sure before getting in touch. The initial session gives us an opportunity to talk about what you are looking for and whether working together feels like the right fit.
